Cosmic Comics! at 3830 E. Flamingo will be celebrating Free Comic Book Day in a big way this Saturday, May 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. In addition to advertising over 5000 free comic books, they'll be raffling off a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #9 (featuring the first appearance of Electro), plus holding free hourly raffles for $50 grab bags of Silver Age comics! They'll also be knocking prices down as much as 80%, offering free sketches by local artists, and free face painting, balloon animals and food trucks. Yeah, I know, graphic novels are for grown-ups now, but it's enough to make you feel like a kid again.
