Could this be the next Container Park? Tony Hsieh's Downtown Project plans to replace the Fergusons Motel at Fremont & 11th with a retail complex including shops, taverns, an ampitheater for public events, and big-ass public art projects. This would extend deep into East Fremont Street the range of downtown that's considered cool, trendy, and, above all, safer.
